Project 1: Upper Limbs

Improving upper limb motor control with spinal cord stimulation

Cervical spinal cord injuries can significantly affect upper limb function, greatly impacting an individual’s independence. Regaining upper limb movement is often one of the primary goals expressed by patients.

This project focuses on enhancing upper limb recovery by combining activity-based therapy—a structured rehabilitation program—with cervical transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation.
