As part of the CIME program, a demonstration of neurostimulation and neurophysiological assessment technologies was organized to help clinicians better understand the different stages of the program, including the evaluation and training phases carried out with their patients. The aim was also to provide a concrete presentation of the tools used in the program and to strengthen the connection between clinical practice and innovative research approaches.
The demonstration was organized and led by the program’s research coordinators and students. They presented the main technologies used:
- TMS (non-invasive brain stimulation),
- EEG (measurement of brain electrical activity),
- tSCS (non-invasive spinal cord electrical stimulation),
- VR (virtual reality).
The event was very successful and brought together 13 therapists from the RFI and RAIS programs at IRGLM, representing various disciplines: occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nutrition, and psychology.
We warmly thank the clinicians for their active participation, keen interest, and the richness of the discussions.
This initiative helped foster a constructive dialogue and strengthen collaboration around the CIME program.
