As part of the ongoing collaboration between the CIME program and the University of Alberta, we were please to welcome Dr. Chester Ho, a world-renowned clinician-researcher in spinal cord injury rehabilitation.
His visit began with a working session with the FES Bike project team, focusing on the research protocol and future collaboration opportunities.
Dr. Ho then delivered a hybrid lecture attended by about sixty participants (30 in person and 30 online), including clinicians, researchers and students. His presentation covered neurological rehabilitation, care pathways, service organization and innovations in functional electrical stimulation.
