Reflection and Dialogue on Suicide Prevention: A Training Activity for the CIME Team

The Suicide Prevention Training offered through the Digital Learning Environment (ENA) of the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal was recently completed by members of the CIME program team. The activity brought together 14 participants online and 12 participants in person.

The training was followed by an enriching discussion facilitated by the participation of Nancy Dubé, Occupational Therapist, and Véronique Girodias, Psychologist. Their contributions helped foster meaningful exchanges on several situations encountered by CIME program professionals in their clinical practice.

The discussions focused on challenges related to the helping relationship, the establishment of professional boundaries, and best practices for supporting individuals experiencing psychological distress or presenting risk factors for suicide.
